Here are some more wonderful specimens I’ll be working on in the future.
Here’s a terrific clump style with a 3″ base. I was simplifying it (it was a real thick bush), and pretty much stopped when I got to this point. Are all of the trunks suited to the final design? Time will tell.
Here’s a single-trunk specimen. It’s a little different that what you usually see, but that’s what nature will often do for you. This another specimen with a 3″ base, and it’s currently 21″ tall. I can see it ending up at that height.
Either this specimen or the next one win the prize for the best tree of the day. Isn’t the shari on this one fantastic! The trunk base is 2.5″, and it’s 15″ tall. I literally can’t wait to see how it turns out.
oh yeah. i like these guys. that second to last photo, though (heart eyes emoji)
Agree with Clem.
Zach, wonderful collection. I love the third one, the one before the last. Can I have it? ?
Sorry, Nandita, I got a request just before yours. Thank you for the compliment, though!
Hi Zach, they all look great but my pick would be the next to last very unique love it.
Good eye, Clem. Thank you for the feedback!
I really like all of these trees. As for the clump style one I think that the first trunk on the left should go. Way to straight and it seams to hide the trunk in the back. Unless if that back trunk is a side branch and if so take the top part of the left truck down to the branching. All the other trunks have good movement and great placement of side branches. As for the other two I would like go buy the twin truck if I could afford it and my wife would let me buy.
I like all of them but the last one to me is the best.
Thanks for the feedback, Joe. I’m still having trouble deciding.
Once again, I am green with envy! BUT, you have given me the courage to work on a couple of trees that I have grown in pots and are getting too tall. Maybe they will survive-maybe not but I won’t know unless I try. Keep the blogs coming!
Thank you, Michael.
