Chinese Elm
Chinese elm is the single best deciduous species for bonsai and we are pleased to offer it as either bonsai or prebonsai for your collection.
I lifted this field-grown Chinese elm “ready made forest” in Winter 2020. It grew out beautifully in the 2020 season, enough that I was able to move the group to this Byron Myrick forest tray (on 8/23/20). This is another of my "tall tree forests," my favorite style of forest. During 2021, ramification kicked in and the forest has now taken on that special quality we all look for.
