Bald Cypress
Bald Cypress, or “BC,” is one of the very best species for bonsai, and is sometimes called the King of American Bonsai. No bonsai collection is complete without at least one Bald Cypress.
Collected in 2021. This is a very fine specimen, which I think will look best as a pyramidal style bonsai. The base is 3" measured 3" above the soil surface, and it’s chopped at 21″. Should finish at about 30". Nice trunk fluting for the size tree. Style it starting next spring!
