I acquired this BC pair from a fellow grower. The larger of the two specimens has a trunk base of 1.5″, while the smaller one is 1.25″. Height of the planting is 27″. This spring I potted the tree into this antique Tokoname tray (it’s stamped), which I bought from the widow of a local bonsai enthusiast about 25 years ago. I think this pair makes a nice composition. The upper branches of the secondary trunk need to be wired into place, which will happen once they’ve hardened off sufficiently. I should be able to ship in June.
