Coming in 2019: Hackberry bonsai & pre-bonsai for sale. See below for examples of specimens we’ve previously offered.
Hackberry – Celtis Laevigata
Nice field-grown specimen, about 7-10 years old. Lifted and potted on February 3, 2017. The trunk base is 1.25″ in diameter and the height is 13″. This one is going to be a very nice informal upright. Great branching already in place.
Hackberries are cousins to the Elm family, Ulmaceae. They have distinctive, delicate leaves that remain a bright green for most of the growing season. Great leaf-size reduction and ramification (though the smallest twigs die off each winter).
The pot is by Byron Myrick.
SOLD: $165 (delivered)
